PURPOSE:To obtain a container for hydrostatic forming of which thickness is thin without causing slippage by such an arrangement wherein a preheated metal mold coated with a mold release agent is immersed in sol-like PVC, and a film of PVC is caused to form on the surface of said metal mold, and the PVC film is then heated and caused to gel. CONSTITUTION:A matrix metal mold coated with a mold release agent (e.g. silicone, etc.) is heated to 50-200 deg.C in advance, and it is immersed in a high molecular organic material composed of sol-like polyvinyl chloride and a high molecular film of polyvinyl chloride (preferably, a film of 0.5-3mm. in thickness) is caused to form on the surface of said metal mold, and after that the film is heated up to 100-200 deg.C and caused to gel to obtain the intended container.
