Fuel injection apparatus for internal-combustion engine

Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep the air-fuel ratio at a proper value at the time of deceleration, by opening a throttle valve by-pass passage when a throttle valve of an internal-combustion engine is closed at a speed higher than a prescribed value, and reducing the fuel supply rate by the opening of the throttle valve, the throttle valve closing speed, etc. but not by the suction vacuum. CONSTITUTION:A fuel control valve 4 controls the fuel supply rate by a control unit 3 to which output signals of a pressure sensor 2 disposed in an intake pipe, an igniting means 8, a sensor 7 for detecting the opening of a throttle valve 6 are applied. When the control unit 3 detects it from the output signal of the throttle valve opening sensor 7 that the throttle valve 6 is closed at a speed higher than a prescribed value, i.e., that an engine is being decelerated, a by-pass valve 10 interposed between throttle by-pass passages 101 and 102 are opened and the fuel supply rate of the fuel control valve 4 is reduced on the basis of the throttle valve closing speed, the opening of the throttle valve, the opening area of the by-pass valve 10, etc., so that a proper air-fuel ratio can be obtained.
